To celebrate the sale of my house in Anchorage, I took Mother & Bryan out to lunch at the Long Rifle Lodge. It’s a bit of a drive and the weather was not the greatest – but I just love that place, and I knew that Mother would enjoy going out there.
She
was a little confused and kept thinking it was his birthday, but she really did
have a good time remembering all her old stories from working out there all
those years.
She
ate an entire cup of chicken soup with wild rice & mushrooms. Bryan had a
burrito with black beans & quinoa (seems I’m rubbing off on him finally)
and I had a salmon burger with fries.
It
was a fun day!
